Hikerdelic Egg Chaser Rugby Shirt

Rugby isn’t a sport you’d associate with the usual down-to-earth vibes we identify here at Hikerdelic, but then this is just a rugby shirt in name only. We don’t expect you to be wearing it as you roll about in the mud.

We wanted to nod to the heritage of the rugby shirt while still making it clear it’s not an actual shirt for rugby and all it entails. And so, the Egg Chaser Rugby Shirt was born.

This multi-stripe version takes all the good bits you find on a traditional rugby shirt, and removes the bits we didn’t fancy. The rugged, stiff, thick cotton fabric is replaced by a meticulously chosen loopback jersey fabric, with stripes embedded within. It creates a more comfortable garment that feels more like a really posh lightweight sweatshirt. 

Colour-wise, we’ve gone full-on liquorice allsorts with this colourway and the other one that shares this pattern, without really meaning to. These autumnal colours will work way beyond your conker-collecting escapades. Collar and cuff-wise, you’ll be please with what you find, while branding is subtle, via our increasingly familiar green side tab which appears on the left hip, adding a pop of colour.

These are a pretty regular fit, so it’s best you buy the size you wear in most of your other clothing.
