Hikerdelic x Elliker Cautley Flap Over Backpack

Built together with our pals across the Pennines at ELLIKER the Cautley Backpack is a 23L daypack designed for people who refuse to see much distinction between the daily commute and disappearing off into the hills for a few hours. Technical enough for proper outdoor use, but without looking like you’re about to summit K2 on your lunch break, it’s a bag made for modern wandering in all its various forms.

Constructed from durable nylon ripstop with weather-resistant finishes alongside recycled polyester with a waterproof PU coating, the Cautley is built to deal with unpredictable forecasts, overpacked train journeys and whatever else the day decides to throw at you. The flap-over top comes secured with adjustable clip fastenings and carabiner anchors, while a waterproof YKK zip entry gives quick access to the main compartment without the usual rummaging about.

Storage-wise, there’s plenty going on without it becoming overcomplicated. An external padded side sleeve fits up to a 15” laptop (16” MacBook friendly for the tech-heads amongst us), complete with slip pockets for phones and pens, while inside you’ll find additional organisation via elasticated compartments, zipped storage, key clip attachments and modular daisy chain webbing.

Externally, expandable bottle pockets, adjustable elasticated cradles and multiple attachment points mean there’s room for extra layers, water bottles and all the miscellaneous gear you somehow convince yourself you’ll definitely need.

Comfort comes courtesy of padded ergonomic shoulder straps, a breathable back panel and adjustable chest and waist straps that keep everything feeling stable whether you’re weaving through city crowds or heading somewhere with significantly more sheep than people.
