Proper Magazine Issue 47 -

Right you lot, we’re back – by neutrally popular demand – to present the 47th edition of our magazine. 

To be honest, we did have some concerns about this issue after reading a study from the American National Bureau of Economic Research, which claims that human misery peaks at age 47. 

Now, we’re not exactly sure if the mental state of a magazine aligns with the emotional patterns of a person (probably not), but given the timing of this study and the lack of vitamin D in the air this time of year, we weren’t about to take any risks. 

So, to save the magazine from hitting rock bottom, we’ve made a concerted effort to fill it with feel-good content. 

This feel-good material mostly comes from our conversations with true aficionados – passionate individuals obsessed with everything from clothing (obviously), to running, fishing, vintage stuff, interior design, writing, and more. 

Working with these aficionado’s has reminded us (not that we really needed it) that it's important to be wildly passionate about the stuff you’re into, even if people look at you a bit weird for it. Who’s arsed?  

In this issue we also reflect on the high points of what has been a pretty solid year for Proper, so it's got loads of stuff in it that we’re proud about. 

Jokes aside, I think everyone has done a fantastic job on this publication, and I hope that the passion, and effort that has gone into it comes across on every page.
